Written by Graham Nash, and released March 1970 by Crosby, Stills, and Nash (but not with Young on this song) on the Déjà Vu album that did include Young. Nash was describing feelings about his [problematic] relationship with his father. Sidenote: Jerry Garcia played backup guitar in exchange for harmony lessons for The Grateful Dead.
